Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers from all over Australia dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families that have experienced stillbirths, premature and ill infants and children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of their local hospitals, as well as children with serious and terminal illnesses.
I have been a member of Heartfelt (formally known as the ACOCP) for a number of years now. It’s very hard to describe in words how much this service means to me. I have completed many sessions over time, and I’d do anything to give back to families that have experienced a stillbirth, premature birth or any type of life threatening illness. A session may see me spending time with a family either in hospital or at home. After the session is complete, an online private gallery, along with a set of prints and a full resolution CD is then sent to the family.
Every Heartfelt member is dedicated to providing this gift to families in a caring, compassionate manner and all services are provided free of charge. You can find out more about Heartfelt here.
